The Sambar Firetruck

I always wanted a Kei truck, before I even knew what they were called. But I always thought it was out of reach. I ran into a very friendly Sambar owner at a car meet one evening who waved me over after seeing me staring longingly from afar. He told me everything he knew about them, and helped me realize this was actually a very achievable dream.

A week later I was scrolling Facebook marketplace in despair after an MR2 I'd been hoping to buy fell through. I came across a listing for this absolutely mad retired fire truck someone had up on their farm in Athabasca. I bought it the next day. It's been a fantastic experience restoring it, I've learned so much. I have big plans for it and hope this little guy will be with me for years to come.
