Community rules
These rules are short on purpose. The spirit matters more than the wording: treat other members the way you would at a car meet where you want to be invited back.
1. Be kind
Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, hate speech, personal attacks or dog piling. New owners ask basic questions; answer them or move on.
2. No flipping or scalping threads
KeiWorld is for owners and enthusiasts, not for hype resale. Threads that exist only to speculate on prices, hoard rare cars for profit or push people toward a sale will be removed.
3. Mark classifieds honestly
If you are selling something, say so in the title, state the real condition, mileage and any problems, and post real photos. Do not ask for deposits from strangers outside a recognized protected payment method. Dealers and businesses must say that they are.
4. No illegal import advice
Importing and registering a kei car depends on your country and region. Share what worked for you and link to official sources, but do not help anyone evade emissions, safety, customs or title rules.
5. Keep photos safe
We strip EXIF metadata (including GPS location) from every image you upload, but you should still avoid showing house numbers, number plates you do not want public, or other people without their consent.
6. Report, do not retaliate
If something breaks the rules, use the report button and carry on. Do not reply in kind, call people out in public, or take it into private messages. Moderators see every report.
7. Your content, your responsibility
Only post what you wrote or have the right to share. No spam, no self promotion without contributing, no malware or phishing links.
What happens when rules are broken
Moderators can remove content, lock threads, issue warnings, apply temporary bans and, for serious or repeated problems, ban an account permanently. Every moderation action is logged. See our terms and privacy notes, or contact us to appeal.
