Log 1: Car is home. The engine bay is cleaner than I expected, the underside is not. First job is a full service.

Honda Beat (PP1)ビート · 1992
A 1992 Honda Beat set up for mountain roads: lighter, stiffer, still road legal.
A Beat that is a joy on a tight pass and still comfortable enough for the drive there.
Brake upgrade, a better seat, and a long overdue wash.

Log 2: Coilovers fitted. Ride height is lower and the car feels more planted. Needed an alignment straight away.
Log 3: First mountain run with the new setup. It turned in so cleanly that I grinned for an hour. The next problem is brakes: they fade after the third descent.
