AZ-1 door struts and seals

My driver side gullwing door started to droop last month. The gas struts are 30 years old and they have given up.

Plan: replace both struts and the door seals while I have the trim off. Has anyone found a modern strut with the right length and force that bolts straight on? The originals are long gone from Japan.

The AZ-1 and the Suzuki Cara share a lot of body hardware, so look under Cara part numbers as well. That doubled my search results.

For the seals, I have seen people use a generic D-section rubber with a bit of trimming for the lower run, and the original for the curved upper corners. Not perfect, but it keeps the water out.
