What has changed on KeiWorld while it is being built, newest first, so you can try new things and check on fixes. If something is broken or confusing, tell us on the contact page.
Fold forum sections. The list of forums beside a forum page is getting long, so each section heading now has a small arrow that folds its forums away and shows their thread count instead. KeiWorld remembers which sections you folded on this device. The section you are reading stays open.
Watched threads. A new page in your account menu and in Settings lists every thread you follow in one place, with the ones that have new replies marked. You can unsubscribe from one, or stop watching all of them.
Event reminders. A day or two before an event you said you are going to or are interested in, you get a reminder. If the organizer changes the time or place, everyone who answered is told. Both can be switched off under Settings, Notifications.
A member's posts. Press View all next to Recent threads on a profile to see everything that member has written, newest first. Profiles also show how many likes a member's posts have received.
Frame your build cover. On the build form you can now drag and zoom the cover photo until the car sits right, and add one YouTube link as a highlight video shown above the story.
Install KeiWorld. You can add KeiWorld to your phone or computer so it opens like an app with its own icon. A small card offers it; you can also find Install KeiWorld in your account menu.
Smoother photo loading. Gallery photos, album covers and the photo page show a soft blurred preview of the picture while it loads, then fade it in. The photo page no longer jumps around while the picture arrives.
Recent updates. This page. It lists what has changed on the site while it is being built, so you know what to try.
Welcome page. The first time a member logs in, they get a short intro. It covers what KeiWorld is, where things are, the limits on new accounts and the main rules. It also links to profile, car and notification settings. Existing members will see it once on their next login.
Like a build. Builds now have a heart button, same as photos. The count shows on build cards, and the owner gets a notification.
Recent albums. The home page and gallery now show one tile per album instead of every photo, so one big upload no longer floods the page. An album only moves to the top when new photos are added, not when someone edits it.
Forms remembering old entries. Starting a second album used to open with the first album's details already filled in. New forms now start clean, and the login form clears your password as soon as you're in.
Getting bounced to the wrong page. "New topic" could send you back to the thread you had just posted. Logging back in after "Log out everywhere" could also bounce you to the home page. Both now go where they should.
Repeat "saved" messages. Going back to a settings page could show an old message like "Profile saved" again. That no longer happens.
Like button color. A button you've pressed now lights up properly, on posts, photos and builds.
Discussions link to what they're about. The forum discussion for a build, album, resource or event now opens with a card showing what it's about and a link to its page. It used to say the page was coming later.
See your images upload. When you add images to a post, each one now shows a thumbnail, its name and how far along it is. If you press send before they finish, the site waits and tells you.
Two factor login. The code box now gets its own screen after your email and password are accepted. It used to appear under the filled in form with a red error, as if you had done something wrong.
Adding several images at once. Pasting or picking several images in a post could lose all but the last one.
What's new. One feed of everything posted across the site in the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. It's first in the menu, and you can choose which kinds of posts to show.
Forum sections. The forum is now arranged like a car club board, with sections and the forums under them. Section headings and forum pages also show thread and post counts.
YouTube cards. A YouTube link on its own line in a post now shows the video's picture and a play button. Links in older posts change once the post is edited.
Add KeiWorld to your phone. You can now install the site on your phone's home screen, with its own icon.
Easier @mentions. Typing @ in a reply or message now lists the people already in that conversation first.
Recent threads on profiles. Profiles now list the threads a member last posted in. Empty profile sections suggest what to do next.
Carbon fiber background. The dark theme's page background now has a faint carbon fiber weave.
Album uploads dropping photos. Adding a batch of photos over your daily limit could silently lose some of them. The site now stops before sending, says which limit you reached and tells you how many were added.
Time zone picker. It now works on every phone browser, including Samsung Internet, and has a button to use your device's time zone.
Members online. Members who were clicking around the site could drop off the list after 15 minutes. They now stay on it while they're active.
@names that don't exist. An @name that belongs to no member now stays as plain text instead of linking to a missing profile.
Menu on tablets. The top of the page no longer scrolls sideways at tablet sizes.
